AmiMesa is not just a plate of food.
It is a table at which friendship, dignity and hope are shared.
On Saturday, 13 June 2026, the very first AmiMesa took place in HolguÃn. Thanks to the support of our donors, 38 people living in difficult circumstances were able to enjoy a warm and healthy meal. It was a special day full of meeting, gratitude, and connection.
AmiMesa is much more than just a meal. It is a moment when people come together, meet each other, and experience that they are not alone. At the table, everyone is equal. They eat, talk, laugh, and listen together. In a country where many people face poverty and shortages daily, such a simple gathering can make a world of difference.
What's special about AmiMesa is that for less than €50, we can provide a nutritious meal for around 40 people. This makes it a small-scale project with a big impact. Every donation, large or small, helps us to organise another AmiMesa and give people a moment of connection, care, and hope.
AmiMesa shows that help doesn't always have to be big or complicated. Sometimes, real change begins with something very simple: a table, a warm meal, and genuine attention to each other.
Together we share not only food, but also friendship, respect and hope. That is the power of AmiMesa.
