Aid package for Yuniel and his mother in Santa Lucía

Last weekend, Stichting Amistad Con Cuba delivered a new aid package to Yuniel and his mother Yamnia in Santa Lucía.

Due to his health, Yuniel requires intensive care every day. His mother looks after him constantly, and therefore regularly needs care products and hygiene products. These products are often difficult to find in Cuba or too expensive for many families.

Thanks to the support of our donors, we were able to help Yuniel and his mother with essential products for his daily care. The package was delivered directly to their home.

Direct and personal help

Stichting Amistad Con Cuba wants to provide aid that is tailored to the personal circumstances of each family. That's why we collaborate with trustworthy volunteers and coordinators in Cuba. They visit the families, maintain contact and assess which assistance is most needed.

We would like to thank our coordinator Lisandra. She took care of the delivery of the package and keeps in touch with Yuniel and his mother. And of course, our driver who transported the package from Holguín to Rafael Freyre free of charge.
