Good news from Camagüey. Yesterday we sent a large aid package from Stichting Amistad to the Salcedo family. Today we received the wonderful news that the package has arrived safely to the mother and her two little girls (8 and 5).

The package includes a large amount of food, medicines, clothes and toys for the children. In addition, we were able to provide the family with a cooking stove, pots and other necessary items for daily life.

For a family trying to get by under difficult circumstances, these items mean much more than just material help. They provide food on the table, the ability to cook for themselves, and a little relief in a period when many basic necessities in Cuba are difficult to obtain or simply unaffordable.

The girls' mother expressed her deep gratitude for all the help she and her daughters have received.

On behalf of the Amistad Foundation for Cuba, we would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to our donors. Thanks to your contributions, we were able to compile this comprehensive aid package and ensure that the aid actually reached the family in Camagüey.
