A mother and her two daughters (8 and 5) in Camagüey are living in extremely difficult conditions. The family has no income, little food, and no family or other social network to rely on.

In particular, the health of the eldest daughter, Roxanet, requires urgent attention. She has epilepsy and needs phenobarbital to prevent epileptic seizures. This medication is currently difficult to obtain. Without this medication, there is a risk of severe seizures.

The living conditions are also poor. The family lives in a wooden house that is in a bad state of repair. When it rains, it gets wet inside. Part of the floor consists of earth and cooking is done on wood. The dwelling does not meet the minimum conditions for safety, health and hygiene.

Both girls go to school. Their mother tries to continue their education as well as possible, but basic necessities are lacking. Among other things, they need backpacks, exercise books, school supplies, clothing and shoes.

What is urgently needed?

First aid consists of:

* medication, with priority for Phenobarbital for Roxanet;
* food for the family;
* clothing and shoes for both girls;
* rucksacks and school supplies.

The total budget for this first aid amounts to 57,480 Cuban pesos, approximately €75 based on the local exchange rate.

With this amount, we can provide practical help immediately. We can help with the necessary medication for Roxanet, food for the family, and clothes and school materials for both girls.
