🚨 First aid case – Alejandra (9) from Holguín
Sometimes a story touches you deep down.
This is the story of Alejandra, a mere 9-year-old girl from Holguín.
Alejandra has been fighting for almost her entire life for something that most children take for granted: growing up healthy.
Following a severe case of meningitis at a young age, there were multiple operations, hospital admissions, and a daily battle with, among other things, epilepsy, breathing difficulties, and other serious medical complications.
Her mother looks after her day and night, and as a result, cannot work. Her father works hard, but the family simply doesn't have the financial means to cover all the necessary costs.
Alejandra urgently needs help now for:

✅ Specialised nutrition
Hygiene materials
✅ Daily medical care
