On October 12, President Gerard van der Sluijs will depart again for Cuba. This time for a stay of five weeks, until November 18.

The trip is largely dedicated to the work of the Amistad con Cuba Foundation. Gerard will visit several volunteers and families supported by the foundation, review ongoing cases, and personally deliver aid supplies.

In addition, talks with local contacts and cooperation partners are scheduled. There will also be a lot of photo and video material created, so that we can give our donors in the Netherlands a as honest picture as possible of the situation on the ground and of the work being carried out with their support.

The trip will take us, among other places, to Havana, Camagüey, Holguín and Rafael Freyre and should help us further strengthen the relief efforts and carefully prepare new projects.
